In December 2008, the project coordinator, Paolo D’Iorio, appeared on the France Culture radio programme Place de la toile to present the latest news about the Discovery Project.

In September 2008, Discovery developer Net7 was honoured as an example of a successful European SME, “whose innovation projects have had a considerable economic impact due to Europe-oriented corporate strategies and to the various European support mechanisms these companies have benefited from.” At an event organised by OSEO, the French agency for innovation, and with the support of the European Commission and the Ministry for the Economy, Industry and Employment in cooperation with the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research, Michele Barbera, CTO of Net7 was able to discuss his work for the Discovery Project with an international audience.
